CHUCK EYE STEAKS
The Chuck Eye Steak is a cut that many have not yet tried, but should. Coming from the upper shoulder area of the carcass where great and flavorful roasts come from, the Chuck Eye Steak (located at the 5th rib) is close in proximity to the Ribeye Steak (starting at the 6th rib), sharing part of the same muscle. This gives it a similar flavor to the Ribeye, not quite as tender, but still able to be prepared in the same manner as the Ribeye Steak.
Chuck Eye Steaks are a great alternative to the more expensive ribeye and become extremely tender with marinade.
